100% Cashmere, Organic and Plant Dyed

A versatile silhouette lending some grace to the everyday, the Rufflecuff sweater is named for the box pleated silk chiffon cuff lending feminine, theatrical movement to this otherwise easy, neat round neck. The silk chiffon lends a tonality further enhanced by a ribbon of Japanese grosgrain traveling up the sleeve to the collar. This lightweight detail forms a tonal, textural impression up the sleeve similar to that of a formal menswear trouser stripe. Side splits give the hem ability to elegantly fan out over a flared skirt or trouser.

Presented here this season in this really special Plant Dyed cashmere. The yarn is from one of Italy's top cashmere mills; Cariaggi. Having their own herd they were able to harvest the best 100% organic pure white cashmere and then dye it naturally with plants. 'Slate' is a purplish grey, is dyed with Logwood - an evergreen tree native to Central America, long important in the textile industry for the breadth of colours it naturally imparts.
