Cashmere, Wool, Silk Blend

The Bamboo scarf is a long, fineweight, colour-blocked ribbed scarf that seeks to mimic the structure of bamboo by playing with the stitch type. Knit in an extra fine gauge Italian cashmere silk wool blend, the rib structure of the knit creates tapered, slender panels interspersed with contrasting textural nodes that join each panel like the knuckles on a branch of bamboo. The scarf has a bouncy, elastic feel with a wonderful linear drape, that can be worn many different ways as each knit section is identical on both sides so the scarf can hang, fold, and drape in any way without seeming to be the wrong way around. Painstakingly made using tiny 16 guage needles this results in a flow of yarn without seams and the subtle shaping that gives this scarf its organic feel.
