Bouclé Cashmere Silk

The Coiffure Hat is a versatile beanie knitted in an Italian cashmere silk bouclé yarn that has a rich, lustrous depth of colour and sheen, and a wonderful bounce to the touch. A lot of bouclé yarns use a synthetic binder thread but Cariaggi use silk, and the result is supremely plush, densely soft and warm.

This hat can be worn in a floppy Japanese surfer way, or by rolling the hem a couple of times as a fisherman skull cap shape. It has a deep rib of super stretchy 1 x 1 rib for a perfect fit. The bouclé yarn makes the rib look the same as the jersey, and so the entire piece is really minimalist.
