The Undulate is a classic, fully fashioned, V neck cardigan with a point of difference. Rippling Japanese grosgrain is hand stitched along one side of the cardigan, adding interest to the lapel, as well as a certain formality and military influence. This hyperbolic shape is found often in nature, as on one of Lucy's favourite ferns, the asplenium scolopendrium. It is complex to sew but simple in look, giving a depth of tone and texture to a wearable shape. Starting at the back neck, and gathered at one shoulder, the tonal grosgrain smooths out and flows down under the matte imitation horn buttons.
